How To Make A Payment

There are 5 options. Whichever you choose, please ensure that a full client name or invoice number are sent at the same time. This may require a separate email being sent to us, so we can match a payment to an invoice and know which project to work with.

Invoices are not considered to be paid until the received payment is matched to an invoice. Unallocated funds will remain in our general account until we can establish who they belong to.

  1. Credit Card payment, please download the payment form here. Add 2% Add 2% to the payment amount to cover the receiving bank’s fee please. Then fax it to +61 3 9583 6947.
  2. Internet Bank transfer, to:
    • Hire A Migrant, CBA Bank, 348 Charman Road, Cheltenham, Victoria 3192, Australia.
      Bank Account number 06 3144 1035 7522
    • In Australia, this is written as:
      • BSB 063144
        Account number 1035 7522
    • Allow two to three days for the funds to arrive before we can commence work.
  3. Western Union Money Order, our receiving agent will be Australia Post. You can transfer money online.
  4. Paypal. Simply visit Paypal and go the “send money” section that will detect your location and open the relevant page for making payment from your country. Send payment to jamie[AT]hireamigrant[DOT]com, with no need to worry about entering our bank account numbers. Add 2% to the payment amount to cover Paypal costs please.
  5. Cheque, posted to PO Box 2831 Cheltenham, Victoria 3192, Australia. Allow 5 days for the funds to clear before we can start work.

The Australian Government is now in caretaker mode ahead of the national election scheduled for August 21. The timing is very unfortunate as a long series of major changes to immigration policy are still unfinished, leaving many thousands of people in a state of great uncertainty.

Although it is possible that State Governments may be able to submit their new lists of State Sponsored occupations for Ministerial approval, it is unclear whether the Minister still has the ability to authorise their implementation at least until a new Government is formed. Similarly, other unwelcome legislation for capping and ceasing certain visa categories is also unable to progress. Another choke point is that quotas for certain occupations may also be implemented at State and Federal levels soon after the election.

Or not! One major party view is that smaller employers should find it easier to become a sponsor, which would enable many more job applicants through. Applicants affected by change and uncertainty may still consider applying for 457 permits until their visa pathway for permanent residency is made clear. Even without the election, Immigration is in a bit of a mess and it will probably be October before it’s mostly cleared up.
